Dear Member: As many of you are aware, our sister local IBEW Local 210 in New Jersey is currently negotiating a new Bargaining Agreement with PHI. We have been in constant communications with their negotiating team since the beginning of the process and have offered them our assistance and support throughout their negotiations, just as we received their full support throughout our negotiation process. Local 210 is facing the same types of issues and problems as we experienced as a negotiating committee, and for this reason we are asking all members of Local 1238 to cease all temporary assignments to management positions until further notice. We will keep you informed as Local 210’s negotiations continue and will communicate, in writing, any changes in our position on this matter.
