Posted: March 13, 2006

The following is a letter from The Local 210 Negotiating Committee to the membership: TO ALL IBEW LOCAL 210 MEMBERS AT ATLANTIC CITY ELECTRIC In keeping with the commitment that the negotiating committee has made to the membership, we are announcing the following: The union and the company reached a tentative agreement late Friday evening. It includes a five-year term, with 15.5% wage increase over the length of the contract. The negotiating committee will continue its work, compiling a summary of agreement. Each member will be provided ample time to read the summary, attend one of the explanation meetings and ask questions in relationship to the agreement. We encourage the membership to attend one of the explanation meetings, the schedule will be posted as soon as it is finalized. The negotiating committee would like to remind the membership that it is not releasing any information until the summary is complete, once it is reviewed and compiled, it will be released to the membership for review, we encourage all to read it thoroughly, and ask questions at one of the explanation meetings. Remember, the only information that the committee is providing is as follows, a 5yr deal, with a 15.5% wage increase over the length of the contract. We would like to remind the membership that the monthly union meeting has changed both time and location, tonight. It will be held at Vineland Fire Company #2, located at 876 E. Sherman Ave, at 7PM. We encourage the members to attend all general meetings, this one is no different. All we are requesting is that questions be deferred until the explanation meetings, where the entire negotiating committee can properly answer it. Continue to work safe and look out for one another. Safety has always been and always will be OUR number one priority. The professionalism and perseverance that this membership has show over the past four months, needs to be commended, WE THANK-YOU. In solidarity your Union Negotiating Committee
