January 15, 2010 Negotiations Update #3

 2010 CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS

TO ALL MEMBERS:

     The Negotiating Committee continues to meet with the Company. The proposals we have received from the Company this week are as follows:

1)   Electric System Operations-Move a portion of the work to management.

2)   Selection of Leads-want to change various classifications to be senior classifications as described in Section 4.2 of our CBA.

3)    Clerical Arbitration Award (12 Lineman before bringing in a clerk) - Eliminate the provision.

4)   Floating lunch period-Apply to all departments (as is done presently in Service Dept. under Section 3.2 of the CBA)

5)   Meals- increase the time to be eligible from 10 to 11 hours.
